In 2013, the Ukrainian Humanitarian Institute began training specialists at the bachelor’s degree level in the professional field of Physical Culture and Sports.<\/p>\n

The department was headed by Professor, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Honored Worker of Physical Culture and Sports of Ukraine, Honored Coach of Ukraine, Honored Education Excellence of Ukraine, Master of Sports in Athletics Valerii Tereshchenko.<\/p>\n

Since 2022, the department has been headed by Iryna Korzhenko. <\/p>\n

Human health is a vital value that occupies the highest level in the system of qualitative manifestations of each personality: interests, ideals, harmony, beauty, the essence of life, perfection, happiness, love, and creative work. In other words, the state of human health affects and simultaneously determines all aspects and spheres of a person’s life from a biological, spiritual and social point of view.<\/p>\n

The curriculum for bachelor’s degrees in Physical Education and Sports provides for thorough professional training.<\/p>\n

Physical education is the main area of implementation of physical culture and is an organic part of general education designed to ensure the development of physical, moral and volitional, mental abilities and professional and applied skills.<\/p>\n
