The Theological Seminary of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Ukraine trains new ministers and improves the spiritual and educational level of current pastors at the Master’s and Doctoral levels.
Currently, 224 people are enrolled in various educational theological programs, including 42 full-time Bachelor’s students.
Because of the war, many of them and their families (who finance their sons and daughters) have dramatically reduced their financial capacity to pay for tuition, accommodation, and food.
This is due to the lack of paid work in small towns and villages, lower wages, and a sharp rise in the price of food and basic necessities.
Some parents have to take care of their younger children in addition to the students.
Students are doing their best to earn money to cover their basic needs, but these efforts are not enough.
