The Department of Scientific Activity of the Ukrainian Humanities Institute is a structural subdivision that reports directly to the head of the Department of Scientific Activity. The department of scientific activity is created for the purpose of the organization, control and coordination of scientific activity and introduction of search results in educational process and practice.
The main tasks of the Department are:
planning and improvement of scientific and innovative activities at the institute;
organization and coordination of exploratory and applied research;
preparation of requests for inclusion in the list of “Priority areas of research” of scientific developments of the institute;
promotion of achievements of scientists of the institute, organization of implementation of results of their researches and developments in educational process and practical activity;
accounting for the introduction into the educational process of the results of research work of the institute;
planning and coordination of research laboratories;
organization, coordination and holding of scientific seminars, conferences, symposiums on the basis of the institute, as well as participation of the institute at the regional, all-Ukrainian and international levels;
organization and control of publications in the institute of scientific journals, conference materials;
organization and control of accounting for research work of the institute;
organization of the work of the Council of Young Scientists and the Student Scientific Society;
planning and organization of competitions of student research papers and competitions in academic disciplines and specialties;
preparation of reports on the scientific activities of the institute.
