Dear friends of the Ukrainian Institute of Arts and Sciences (UIAS)! Our institute has an urgent need for a new bus to transport and evacuate students.

Immediately after the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the territory of our educational institution was at the epicenter of hostilities. Thanks to God’s protection and the professionalism of the staff, the students who were then in the UIAS were evacuated to the Chernivtsi region. The main role in this rescue was taken by our old bus, which functioned heroically, although it was in almost broken condition. It helped us to take the students out of the attack.  

However, now the institution is in great need of a new bus, as our hero has gone on a well-deserved vacation. The new bus will help us evacuate in case of possible hostilities in Kyiv. It will also provide greater mobility for students and teachers.

However, the cost of the new bus is significant and we need your help to raise the necessary amount. The goal is to purchase a Mercedes Sprinter or Volkswagen Crowther costing a minimum of 28 thousand US dollars. We will be grateful for any financial assistance you can provide to help us purchase a new bus. Your support will allow us to evacuate students and staff of the institute at the first sign of danger.
