Advantages of the specialty

  • Design, development and re-engineering of complex software products and information systems using modern standards, technologies, agile methodologies, programming languages (C, C++, C#, Java…), methods and mechanisms of teamwork.
  • Development of distributed corporate information systems and Web applications using modern Internet technologies, Web technologies and tools for integrating existing corporate systems with mobile technologies and services.
  • Design, development, implementation, and administration of databases of various structures, both relational and document-oriented (Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB), meeting the requirements of reliability, efficiency, load, and scalability.
  • Software testing.

Graduates of this specialty have the skills to work with IT technologies and computer tools at the level of system programmers, designers and developers of special software products, namely Programming, markup and design languages: C++, PHP, C#, Java, JavaScript, HTML, SQL. Programming, development and learning environments: Visual Studio, Android Studio, NetBeans, Visio, Project, WordPress, Moodle. DBMS: Access, MSSQL. Technologies: Network technologies, Microsoft.NET, ASP.NET, Google Apps. Graphics and visualization: CorelDRAW, Adobe Photoshop, Captivate, InDesign The Computer Science and Information Technology major provides great opportunities for a successful career – a thorough training allows a graduate to easily adapt to various fields of IT technology.

General-purpose software and special application software products were installed, including theUkrainian Accounting System UBS, M.E.Doc, IS-pro, and others. The department conducts research on the topic “Information systems and technologies for managing socio-economic processes in the economy.” In doing so, the department’s staff formulate the problem and involve students in the research process, and the results are discussed and presented at scientific and practical conferences at home and abroad (including student conferences).
