Physical culture and sports – a sphere of human life, which is associated with the development of physical perfection of the individual, is an important factor in maintaining and strengthening human health, improving its culture, communication, active leisure, alternatives to bad habits and passions. Physical culture and sports intensively affect all spheres of social life and contribute to the minimization of economic costs, are factors in increasing the working age.
In 2013, the Ukrainian Humanities Institute began training specialists in the educational and qualification level of a bachelor in the professional field of “Physical Culture and Sports”.
The department is headed by Professor, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Honored Worker of Physical Culture and Sports of Ukraine, Honored Coach of Ukraine, Honored Worker of Education of Ukraine, Master of Sports in Athletics – Tereshchenko Valery Ivanovich.
Human health is a vital value that occupies the highest level in the system of qualitative manifestations of each individual: interests, ideals, harmony, beauty, essence of life, perfection, happiness, love, creative work. In other words, the state of human health affects and at the same time determines all aspects and spheres of life of the individual from a biological, spiritual and social point of view.
The curriculum for bachelors in the field of “Physical Culture and Sports” provides for thorough training.
Physical education is the main direction of the introduction of physical culture and is an organic part of general education, designed to ensure the development of physical, moral, mental abilities and professional and applied skills of man.
