Design students took part in the exhibition “Woman in the Flames of War”

The Kyiv State Academy of Decorative and Applied Arts and Design named after Mykhailo Boichuk is hosting an exhibition “Ukrainian Woman in the Flames of War.”

As part of the event, a musical and poetic theatrical performance was held, featuring poets Sergo Sokolnyk, Oleh Poberezhnyi, Oksana Kuziv, as well as the musical and poetic groups Dark Matter and Anga Zelena, singers Oksana Naumenko and Anichka, the contemporary variety theater Sharge by NAKKKIM, and artist Anastasia Osmalovska.

Particularly noteworthy was the performance of the men’s choir of the Ukrainian Humanitarian Institute under the direction of Dana Domanska.

In total, out of the sixteen art projects submitted, only seven works were selected for the main exhibition, which indicates their high quality and significance. Among the winners were students of the Graphic Design Department of the Ukrainian Humanitarian Institute.

The works for the main exhibition were selected by Volodymyr Khyzhynskyi, PhD in Art History, Associate Professor and member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine.

The exhibition will last for a month, and the organizers invite everyone to come and enjoy the work of talented young artists.
